Help your Loved One Bathe with the Caregiver Shower Curtain

INSIDER TIP: Assist a loved one in the shower while both giving them some privacy and not getting yourself soaked in the process with a caregiver shower curtain.

The Caregiver Shower Curtain looks just like a regular shower curtain but with a few important exceptions:

  • The shower curtain has built-in shoulder length gloves that give the caregiver access to the person inside the shower. The caregiver can assist with the bathing process and still keep the shower curtain closed. The caregiver stays dry and prevents water from getting on the floor, which helps with fall prevention!
  • and

  • The opaque white bottom section helps to provide a level of privacy for the bather, while the transparent top gives a clear view for the caregiver to assist in bathing

Using the Caregiver Shower Curtain is easy; caregivers just slide their arms into the gloves from outside the shower or tub. Then the caregiver can use gloved hands to help wash their loved one’s hair, face and upper body. The caregiver can also use a handheld shower head in order to rinse soap or shampoo away.

The Caregiver Shower Curtain, which retails for $14.95 plus shipping and handling, is made from non-toxic PVC and is 72" wide, which is appropriately sized for most bathtubs and also tub-shower combos. It has reinforced holes for secure hanging from standard shower curtain rings. The curtain can be used alone or as a liner for your decorative shower curtain. If you decide to use it as a liner, all you need to do is flip the decorative curtain up and out of the way when you need to use the Caregiver Shower Curtain.
