Dignity Prescription Label Magnifiers Makes Reading Your Medication Labels a Cinch
INSIDER TIP: Say goodbye to squinting or straining your eyes—or worse yet, medication mix-ups—with a specialized magnifying glass that is made to help read the fine print on a prescription bottle.
As medical advances occur faster than ever, doctors have at their disposal a galaxy of medications with which to treat the ailments faced by the aging. This is great news for those with health conditions that are pharmacologically treatable, but it often means seniors find themselves with a medicine cabinet full of prescriptions, exponentially increasing the likelihood of dangerous mistakes, such as taking an incorrect dosage or the wrong medication.
Luckily, there are a number of options available to avoid such mistakes. Regular consultations with your physician should always be the first line of defense. Daily pill cases or other organizers are excellent ways to keep track of regular medications. However, for those pills taken periodically or symptomatically, the best council remains: "Read the label."
Dignity Prescription Label Magnifiers make it easier to read the small print on prescription bottles by magnifying the medication name, dosage, and usage instructions over 200%. With a prescription magnifier on each pill bottle, seniors with low vision or macular degeneration no longer have to worry about having a magnifying glass or a caregiver with them every morning at medication time.
Sold in sets of 4 for $19.95, plus shipping and handling, each Dignity Prescription Label Magnifier is designed to fit common prescription bottles, sliding over the top to illuminate the important details. Purchase two sets for $39.90 from their Website, and the company will include a free organizing tote—which is great for travel.
Refresher: Dignity Prescription Label Magnifiers are perfect for seniors or those with low vision who have trouble reading the tiny print on medication bottles.
Extra Credit: Keep your caregiver, physician, and pharmacist in the loop with our simple Medication Tracker and familiarize yourself with our Medication Do's and Don'ts to insure you get the most out of your prescriptions.
