Senior-friendly ClarityLife 900 Amplified Phone Makes a Splash

INSIDER TIP: A new phone makes itself seen and heard by seniors with hearing impairment or low vision.

Bigger, brighter, betterClarityLife C900 Amplified Mobile Phone is made with elders in mind. The phone is a bit bulkier than others on the market but its features will make it well-worth the heft for many. The phone includes:

  • Large easy-to-read buttons
  • The back of the phone includes a recessed emergency button. Pushing this button causes the phone to automatically call five numbers that the user has designated as emergency contacts. This feature aids seniors in a crisis so that five separate numbers are dialed to let loved ones and/or emergency service personnel know that their help is needed.
  • Bright orange screen with large type
  • Super loud reception, ring tones and a flashing ringer
  • Hearing aid compatible loudspeaker
  • Built-in flashlight
  • Visual alerts to let users know they have an incoming calls, their battery is low or that their battery is currently being charged
  • 200 phonebook memory that can be managed by a user’s loved one sending text messages to the Clarity C900. You can pre-load all the numbers your mom will need before even giving her the phone—or change them as needed without her having to type new numbers directly into the phone!
  • Simple calculator
  • Alarm clock with snooze function
  • Birthday reminder

And one of the best features is that the phone comes unlocked which means you don’t need to sign up with a particular wireless carrier, but can choose your own.

Refresher:The ClarityLife C900 Amplified Mobile Phone’s amplified sound and visual features make it the senior-friendly cell phone and another tool to help with aging in place.
