Jill Gilbert
President and CEO
Jill brings extensive business experience to Gilbert Guide, stemming from fifteen years in the film industry. Before founding Gilbert Guide, Jill was Vice President in charge of Production and Development at Love Spell Entertainment, partnered with Columbia Pictures. In that capacity, she oversaw acquisitions and development and set up projects with funding, studios and production.

Jill began her film career at Walt Disney/Touchstone Pictures. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BS in Business Administration.

Jason Gilbert
COO and CFO
Jason is adept at managing operational, financial and technical systems and developing strategic plans to help small companies reach their potential. Combining visionary measures with practical applications, he is experienced at designing solutions that meet customer needs.

As the General Manager of 1View Network (acquired by Digital Insight in 2000), Jason worked closely with such large clients as Wells Fargo Bank and J.P. Morgan Chase. Prior to that, at Avolent, Jason managed solution implementations at Bank of America, Intuit, AT&T, and Wells Fargo Bank.

Jason holds a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Harvey Gilbert, MD
Medical and Policies Director
Harvey Gilbert, MD, is a radiation oncologist with over thirty-five years of professional experience in the medical field, working with cancer patients stricken with life-changing illnesses. Dr. Gilbert has edited fourteen medical textbooks and co-authored forty papers in the field of oncology. He founded one of the first inpatient hospices in California, and started three outpatient cancer centers. Dr. Gilbert currently serves as an advisor to multiple hospices and in-home care agencies and is the medical director of the Ben Schaffer Cancer Institute in Lodi, California.

Dr. Gilbert received his medical degree from the University of Missouri Medical School in 1965. He then moved to the Bay Area, where he interned at Oakland Naval Hospital and was on active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969. Dr. Gilbert completed his residency in the Radiation Oncology department at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco as well as at UCLA Medical Center and Hospital.

Lara Belonogoff

Lara joined Gilbert Guide in 2006 as the Supervisor of the Copywriting Department, managing the workflow for Gilbert Guide’s staff of writers. Now in her role as the Editor in Chief, Lara liaises with publishers, writers and senior care experts to unite expert insights on multiple and diverse topics into one solid voice across the entire Website. As she aids in shaping the company and its direction, she is excited to be a part of the nation’s premier information source for caregivers and their families.

Lara has previously worked as a freelance consultant, helping to create and implement communication strategies for both small- and medium-sized businesses. She is also the author of several print titles, including several Baltic travel books and Random House’s Lithuania Culture Smart, a guide to business and social etiquette for foreigners in Lithuanian. She has set foot on only four of the seven continents and has never seen a moose in real life, but hopes to remedy both of those oversights of fate in the near future. Lara holds a degree in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from the New School in New York City.
