Custom Caregivers Description

The goal of Custom Caregivers is to enhance clients' quality of life through companionship, as well as assistance with the activities of daily living. The agency prioritizes close relationships with clients and their families. It offers a cognitive retention therapy program for early-to-midstage dementia clients, including those with Alzheimer's. Custom Caregivers primarily serves an Ellis County population, but will consider prospective clients from neighboring counties.

Q. Your overall impressions of this provider?
A. Be careful how you are presented with the service agreement. The intent of the service agreement is that you do not hire a caregiver that was taking care of the client away from the agency for your own caregiver. I hired a caregiver who worked for this agency, but had not taken care of the patient under the umbrella of Custom Caregivers. The caregiver that I hired just happened to work for Custom Caregivers and I met the caregiver through homecare. I employed the caregiver after the caregiver had already given notice to Custom Caregivers for another job not related to my patient. The agency has been unprofessional in their interpretation of the service agreement and misrepresented said service agreement in our initial meeting when it was signed. I give this agency 0 stars and will not give favorable comments regarding this agency to anyone.
