The Clare Bridge Daily Path provides structure and activities each day designed to meet specific needs of those with dementia, while the Clare Bridge Dining Program, designed by a gerontologist and registered dietitian, helps residents retain the ability to enjoy and master the daily dining experience.

Chambrel offers a country club atmosphere in an upscale facility. The attractively landscaped campus sits on a tranquil street where green belt of lawn separates the cluster of buildings from a shopping area. The bridge spanning a fish pond and a bubbling fountain provides access to Chambrel from the main building. The concierge welcomes visitors to the main building, which houses the dining area and gym. All outer doors are locked to prevent intruders; residents and their families have card keys.

The lobby features a large aquarium with colorful fish. Options abound with seven different floor plans. Some of the rooms boast outdoor patios. The recessed cabinets in the bathrooms are wheelchair-accessible and the walk-in showers have seats and handheld showerheads. Each room comes with additional storage space.

Chambrel is licensed as ambulatory, which means that all residents must be able to evacuate the building without assistance. Skylights and arched windows flood the hallways with
sunlight. The tables in the formal dining area are set with linen tablecloths and napkins. Assigned seating enables staff to quickly recognize any absences.

Residents engaged in animated conversation as they waited for dinner and chatted with staff at the nurses' desk. The staff seemed well acquainted with the residents, even greeting family members by name. Many of the staff members, including aides, CNAs and administration, have been at Chambrel for several years. The roster of activities includes Red Hat Society meetings, a men's club, daily current events discussions and a low-vision support group. A popular family night celebration occurs every other month. This facility is typically at capacity, with a waiting list.
