Trinity Terrace offers an impressive array of services to its residents. On top of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care, the facility offers physical, respiratory, occupational and speech therapies. Residents may also take advantage of temporary stays in the facility's health care center without an increase in their monthly fees. The highly professional staff is very attentive to residents' needs. Trinity Terrace enjoys a long-standing reputation of excellence built on being the sole CCRC in Tarrant County. As one might expect, there is normally a wait list. Staff members informed us that plans are underway to construct a new tower housing sixty-six apartments, an auditorium, an indoor pool and various other amenities. The tall, tan building encompasses an entire city block just west of Fort Worth's dynamic downtown area. The garden terrace atop the large garage is a popular area for residents to view the city skyline and admire the Trinity River, which flows nearby. The facility boasts a woodworking shop and a hobby room as well as an arts and crafts room. The in-house TV station offers residents the opportunity to volunteer their time and talents. Activities include book and poetry readings. Residents' apartments come in a range of sizes, from 385 square foot studios to 1,310 square foot two-bedroom units. Sunlight streams into the rooms through floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that open onto balconies. Marble countertops add style to the bathrooms, all of which feature convenient handheld showerheads. The foyer is bright thanks to expansive windows and shiny wood floors. Residents and guests enjoy a number of seating areas, each upholstered in various patterns. Tan is the unifying color in the common areas, which are illuminated by a combination of wall sconces and fluorescent lighting. Residents often drink their morning coffee in the common area they refer to as the "socializing" room. A loveseat, couch and coffee table furnish the inviting area. Tables and wall decorations adorn the hallways, which are wide enough to accommodate wheelchair users. Residents take in the stunning view from the upscale dining room, where they feast on a variety of cuisines—some of the favorites are French and Mexican.
