The stucco building that houses Bethesda Gardens resembles an apartment complex. Parking areas surround the facility, which is located in a developing neighborhood of Fort Worth. High windows create a light and spacious atmosphere. The facility emits such a homey feeling that it was easy to imagine living there! The furnishings are marked by comfort and good taste. Handrails line the hallways, which feature sitting areas.

Residents' apartments have nameplates, doorbells and locking front doors that create a sense of privacy. Residents furnish their owns apartments, and enjoy walk-in closets with plentiful storage space. Some apartments boast individual covered patios. From there, they can view the facility's gardens, where a number of the residents utilize their green thumbs.

Residents are served restaurant-style service in the expansive dining area. Bethesda Gardens features a small private kitchen as well as a private dining area that residents and their families reserve for special occasions. Religious services are held in the on-site chapel throughout the week. Other popular pastimes include playing cards and board games, as well as going on outings. We overheard residents and staff cheerfully catching up on each other's lives.
