A brick building houses Castle Rock, a family-owned business. The facility has abundant parking and is located next to the Arlington Airport. Crown moldings, wood columns, and archways embellish the brightly lit common areas, which are decorated in green and beige. Handrails line the wide, uncluttered hallways. Residents' rooms are moderately sized and feature windows, as well as walk-in showers with padded seats.Meals are served restaurant-style in the elegant dining area, where social occasions also take place. Residents surf the web on computers in the library. Shopping excursions to major retailers such as Target are also popular. Other activities include watching movies and playing board games. Residents enjoy access to a whirlpool bath. The outdoor barbecue area has ample seating for residents and their guests. A gazebo overlooks walkways meandering through trimmed grass and shrubs. We noticed several residents conversing easily with staff members during our visit to Castle Rock.
