The interior color scheme is an attractive blend of earthy tones. A mixture of fresh and artificial flower arrangements are bright accents to the shadow box displays sitting outside residents' rooms. Comfortably furnished common areas are strategically spaced throughout the building. Residents' rooms are moderately sized, and all have windows.

The building is divided into four wings; each has its own dining and common areas, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. The layout facilitates closeness and familiarity among neighboring residents. The secured outdoor area provides refuge as well as safety. The raised planters and gardens are designed for easy accessibility; residents are encouraged to participate in leisure gardening.

The wide hallways are free of clutter and are furnished intermittently with seating areas to encourage socializing among residents.
