Q. Your overall impressions of this provider?
A. They definitely don't want family around helping their elders. We put my father here for skilled nursing care following his stay at the hospital. He has diabetes and never even had his foot wounds looked at. Also, the diet they served was 3oz greasy meat over white rice or noodles, white breads, sugared fruit juices and sugared cookies and ice creams. They had previously told me that his diet would be sugar free. All they wanted to do was have the Dr. order sedatives for him so he wouldn't be any trouble. The staff ripped all the 'help' posters we put up to help my dad with his dementia stating that they weren't allowed. They got progressively ruder with both him, and us, the longer we left him there. (And that was only two days). -
