Salmon Creek Retirement Community is located in Idaho's state capital of Boise, offering the amenities and services you'd expect of a metropolitan center without ever sacrificing the warmth or charm of a smaller town. Boise is located in southwestern Idaho, about 40 miles from the Oregon border. We're situated on a broad, flat plain at a moderate elevation of 2,700 feet, with the picturesque Boise foothills to our northeast.

There's plenty to see and do in Boise, from the cultural (Boise Art Museum, Discovery Center of Idaho, Boise Little Theatre, Boise Contemporary Theater, Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Boise's “jewel,” the Egyptian Theatre, a movie and concert palace opened in 1927 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places) to the outdoors/recreational (Morrison-Knudsen Nature Center, World Center for Birds of Prey, cheering on amateur and university athletics, hot air balloon rides, and fishing, horseshoes, swimming, picnicking - or just relaxing - at one of Boise's many lovely parks).

Back home at Salmon Creek, you'll find our community to be especially close-knit and caring; our staff and residents treat each other as family. Our live-in management teams are on-site and available 24/7, and they relish the opportunity to get to know all of our residents on a personal basis. Our in-house chef prepares three sumptuous meals from scratch daily, served in our beautiful dining room. And our entire staff provides on-site activities, off-site excursions, and cleaning and maintenance chores to free up our residents' time for more enjoyable pursuits.
