Napa Nursing Center is a breath of fresh air—and it seems to do everything right. The facility is well-staffed twenty-four hours a day and the staff is not only highly trained but also very caring, constantly engaging family members to remain involved in the lives of the patients. The main goal of Napa Nursing is to help patients to overcome their disabilities so they may return home as quickly as possible. The staff members pride themselves in helping patients rebuild their self-esteem after a major health event. The facility's dedicated staff of social workers helps with this goal, by finding the "right solution" upon discharge. The professional staff, which includes physical, occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers, are available on weekends to address families' concerns. The staff is friendly and very stable. Many staff members have worked at the facility since the early 1970s. There is a team approach to patient care and new staff members are welcomed with open arms. Integrating new staff is a top priority, in order to ensure the team effort continues on patients' behalf. Napa Nursing offers hospice care for its patients. The staff makes every effort to provide a hospice patient with a private room. Family members are encouraged to spend the night, as well as daytime hours, with the patient. The compassionate staff and the exceptional care provided at Napa Nursing make it an excellent choice.
