Lush green plants and shrubs pop against the white building located on a busy street along Museum Row. Country Villa Pavilion Healthcare Center is convenient it is convenient to UCLA, Cedars-Sinai, Olympia Medical Center, Kaiser Cadillac and other major medical centers. The inviting lobby has purple sofas and a dark wood mantel. High ceilings create a spacious entry, as does a view of the outdoor patio to the left of the lobby. Several trees and bushes surround the periwinkle umbrellas shading the patio, a popular spot for residents to chat in temperate weather. Lavender wallpapered hallways lead to residents' shared rooms. Rooms are painted a soothing light pink, and are very spacious. One room we visited had enough space to set up a table for eight in the middle! During our tour, we observed several residents watching TV in the dining room, which doubles as an activity center. A large bulletin board posts activities, menus and residents' birthdays. We noticed staff's attentiveness to residents, which was warm and courteous. Residents seemed to reciprocate the genuine feelings of closeness; we observed several residents sitting near the nurses' station enjoying the company of their caregivers.
