Visiting family members with children will be pleased to find a pizza parlor and a coffee shop right behind the facility. The building's exterior is a warm peach color. A wheelchair ramp with brightly colored railings leads to the entrance. Bushes and plants mark the entrance. In the lobby, pretty floral-patterned china fills a cream cabinet. A small table with seating for four sits on the other side of the entrance. Leather sofas and a pair of love seats surround a glass coffee table in the middle of the room. The area rug, in a multicolored design, catches the eye. Large potted plants furnish the corners of the room. Near the window, an aquarium houses a few spirited goldfish. With a couple of birds in an adjacent cage, residents have their choice of small pets to admire.

The multipurpose room was disheveled and had a noticeable odor. Residents were watching TV and did not seem bothered. One of the owners is a registered nurse who has her own Iranian TV show. Other activities include music, games, arts and crafts, current events groups, exercise and live entertainment twice a week. The dining room isn't elaborate. Green, cream and brown tones permeate the décor. Gold chandeliers hang above tables with four chairs at each. White linen tablecloths are covered in plastic. All meals are cooked on-site, and traditional Iranian food is often served. Resident rooms are small but sufficient and are furnished with gold-trimmed beds and dressers. Brown carpets complement the off-white walls.
