Professional Healthcare at Home is a well-established home healthcare agency. We offer everything from meal preparation to skilled nursing. What makes Professional Healthcare at Home different is that we offer both non-medical and medical services. Employees of Professional Healthcare at Home include companion caregivers, certified nurse assistants, home health aids, speech therapists, physical therapists, registered nurses, and several other vocations. We have offices throughout the bay area making our service area larger than most. Each office has two staffing managers that know every employee very well so we are able to perfectly match the schedules, personalities, abilities, and needs of clients to caregivers. Requests can be made for drivers and transportation, available in all service areas. We have in-house paid and unpaid training made by National Caregiver Training Program. Extensive background checks including nationwide FBI, DMV, social security, elder and child abuse searches done by a reliable security firm. When interviewing a new client we do an intake form and plan of care. The intake form gives the staffing managers an idea of what kind of services and personality the client is looking for. On that form is a space for languages spoken and male or female where client can specify what they are looking for. The plan of care has two copies, one of which stays in the home, the other stays in the office. The plan of care lets the caregiver and client know exactly what is expected each visit and keeps a log of what services have been provided.
