    A. I did social work at Crossroads Adult Day Health Care briefly through a staffing company about two years ago. For all intensive purposes, they are the same owners and same location of Tesca Hospice. I returned to say "hi" to the Program Director and the clients. Unfortunately, the Program Director had passed away. The Administrator informed me they couldn't find a social worker and almost begged me to fill the position. I agreed and found the Administrator and new Program Director to be the most dishonest and unprofessional people I ever worked with. The Administrator is a depraved woman who sits in her office and does next to nothing. Sometimes she puts a baby in harms way by bringing him there and exposing him to mentally ill people with infectious diseases. She is an abusive person; acting in the most childish ways, mocking people's behavior, slandering them, preventing professional discussion, engaging in name calling, and having fits of rage.

    The original Program Director was a credentialed PhD and licensed Social Worker, but the new Program Director is an enigma who refused to tell me about her background. I eventually discovered she had a bachelors in nursing in addition to dubious "previous psych experience." The moment I met her, she gushed about the numerous shortcomings of her co-workers like I was her closest confident. She said she was "happy" to have a "white social worker," as this organization is owned by Filipinos and they "discriminate against white people." A disproportionately large number of Filipinos were hired on, but this was a family organization with lots of nepotism. The owner's son, for example, was married to a white woman who worked there as a nurse. The Program Director told me how another nurse there had cognitive deficiencies such as "forgetfulness" and she was not allowed to distribute medication. This nurse was terminated, but I saw no reason to question her professionalism.

    The person whose professionalism I did question was the Program Director. She had severe paranoia issues and acted on them daily. Several employees described her God-complex, called her "paranoid" and said they "hate her." I thought these comments extreme, but in retrospect they are understatements. She was a bald-faced liar, engaged in rampant character assassination, and was simply maniacal. She would follow people around, eavesdropping on conversations, making preposterous accusations, and engaging in manipulation to damage people's character. She also had impairments in her thinking, such as talking about something without introducing the topic, or unknowingly using the wrong word.

    Her skills as a team leader were atrocious, she was inexperienced, and her paranoia interfered with her judgment. She falsely accused me of going through her desk drawers. She was merely unfit to work with people and any decent employee quit on account of her. She was aware of her shortcomings and worked feverishly to cover them up, keeping everyone under the gun with these tactics. She didn't trust anything in the client's charts, even a doctor's note. She stated that most of the clients have a primary diagnosis of manic-depression. But most clients here have schizophrenia and I discovered she didn't know what manic-depression is. Yet this was someone practicing both individual and group psychotherapy on a daily basis. She admitted she has no licenses to practice as a clinician. Her actions were immoral, unethical, and illegal. The biggest travesty was that clients suffered on account of her.
