Carefree Transitions is a Senior Move Management and Professional Organizing business serving the Phoenix metro area. Our services include:
- FREE Consultation
- Customized floor plans
- Document & Inventory possessions using digital photography
- Prepare home to look its best for quick sale
- Sorting, Rightsizing, Organizing & Tagging
- Handle donations and provide photo, inventory list and receipt
- Supervise & provide referrals: estate sales, auction, packers & movers, shippers & more
- Coordinate & Supervise Packers & Movers
- Unpacking & Organizing
- Move-In performed in ONE day with no boxes or packing paper in sight
- Change of Address
- Arrange final cleaning of residence
- Clean and Organize all belongings
- Organize all important records and documents
- FREE follow up after move or transition
- Errands and additional services at your request
By dinner time on moving day you will walk into your new home and have everything put away in a highly organized manner, the way you live. Your belongings will be clean and if the alarm clock is supposed to be on the right side of the bed it will be there and it will be set to the correct time. If your tooth brush is normally kept on the left side of the sink it will be there. The bed will be made, the cable TV and phone hooked up, refrigerator and pantry stocked, pictures hung and you will be ready to relax and begin life in your new home.
Our service is performed by the Carefree Transitions team who are trained and insured.

A. We will always be grateful that we heard about Carefree Transitions, who made it possible for my 90-yr-old mother-in-law to sell her house in AZ and move to ###'t living in Washington, DC to be near us. Judy Rough sent us an angel in Terry, the woman who oversaw and managed this move from day one: downsizing, selling and donating goods (even a car), packing and moving antiques and heirlooms across the country to her new home. I can't imagine our pulling this off without their invaluable service. -

A. Recently my mother passed away. As I live on the east coast, I had NO idea where, who, what to do regarding packing out, selling, donating, etc. of my mother's estate. Carefree Transitions was highly recommended by the Classic Residence in Scottsdale, AZ. Judy Rough and her team made this difficult process effortless. It was a comfort feeling that someone cared and would assist with all of the logistics.

A. Judy was an invaluable resource to my family over several years as our mother transitioned from independent living to assisted living. She made the moves easy and professional. Since we lived out of state, it was imperative that we could trust someone with all the various responsibilities needed to make these difficult transitions possible. Judy was always available and continually surprised us with above and beyond service. From the tooth brush holder to hanging pictures, she was excellent. We could have not asked for better care. She is also a wonderful person...great to talk to about any issue you might have in the care of a loved one. She really understands the trama and disruption of these kinds of needs. -

A. My 89 year old mother moved from Sun City, Arizona to Washington, DC. None of her children were able to go to Arizona to help with the transition. Judy Rough and Carefree Transitions were spectacular. They did everything. Judy and I were able to arrange all the important matters by phone and email. The move was seamless, amazingly inexpensive, and, most of all, extremely comfortable and comforting to my mother. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Judy Rough went above and beyond the call of professional responsibility to be certain my mother was informed and, indeed, happy. Thank you to Carefree Transitions from our entire family. -
