thanks for explaining portions in such an easy way. the deck of cards analogy makes more sense then a lot of what i read online. i take care of some of my mom's meals for her (she lives a few miles away from me) and she can fix herself a sandwich during the day but i always try get her something a bit better for dinner and fill up her freezer when i can.
Does it matter if the 2 and a half cups of veggies per day are cooked or raw?
It doesn't make a difference whether the veggies are cooked or raw as long as you are consuming 2 1/2 cups of veggies per day.
what exactly does under nutrition mean
Basically stated, undernutrition can be thought of as a deficiency of caloric or protein intake.
