In addition to BigScreen live and SoftShell both software programs, I would like to point to the service FamiliLINK provides. No need to download software, it is a online service to easily stay in touch with your more tech savvy loved ones. It will provide you with an easy message (email) system, daily schedule and you can view photos and videos from loved ones, all at one place. Family and friends easily send photos or videos as email attachments or using YouTube and Picasa. The interface is specially designed for technology challenged and great for older seniors.
Thanks
Laura
I have found success in using a video chat program with my mother. She only has to click a couple of icons, and we are connected via face-to-face chat. Skype even has a phone especially for video chat. It's a good way to keep in touch with loved ones.
