    You are right, Ms. Gilbert. We do need to be aware of the details of how regular Medicare, Medicare supplement plans and Medicare advantage plans work. However, MA (Medicare advantage) plans are a good alternative for those who can not afford good supplement coverage. Unfortunately, there some unscrupulous agents out there who don't disclose properly and put thier own agenda before that of the client. I take pride in my service and integrity, and I would never dream of pressuring anyone into a plan, or even presenting an option that would not be in my clients' best interests. Having said that, there are many MAs that offer much better value than regular Medicare, and many are "zero" monthly premium. Again, I agree with your point of the buyer needing to be aware of the details. Hopefully, CMS will more severly punish those agents who break the rules, and make it easier for those of us who have good ethics to better serve our senior market.
