You touch on the financial aspects of gay adoption in relation to retirement, but I wanted to point out that another finding from the study you mentioned is that same-sex couples raising adopted children are older, more educated, and have more economic resources than other adoptive parents. Pointing out yet another way of how gay adoption might not only be good for the parents, but also for their children.
