I had no idea my parents were such pack-rats. Well actually I did have an idea, but I didn't realize it was a serious problem. What a nightmare their house is! It's almost scary to go over there and I've stopped bringing my children (their grandchildren!) over there. It's just unhealthy. I'm about to dig in and see what I can do to help. It's definitely time for an intervention. thanks!
Okay these courses were really helpful. I kept looking for a book or anything on how to deal with this and couldn't find anything. Saw the special on Oprah and was hoping more resources would have been provided to assist.
We also an uncle out of state that could also use an intervention - i think i'll point his kids to this. His wife is completely embarrassed about inviting anyone to their home. I always feel bad. Thank you Ms. Novack.
