The only time I become angry is when my daughter-in-law makes a fool out of me in front of company. she enjoys seeing me search for words or an important part of the conversation that I just can't bring to mind. she's a high school graduate while i hold a masters. oh yes, I'm on Prednisone, the mood changer!
formal education does not always mean one understands. have you talked to your son about her behaviour? from your comment it sure sounds as if there is a need for compassion on both sides.
Thanks for article, wish I had read it five years ago when my mother started isolating, saving movie ticket stubs because she could not remember the names of the movies otherwise. I didn't put it together and I am a mental health professional.
