Interesting cause you've taken up here, perhaps you should start a research fund, try to generate some capital, I'm sure there would be a market for organic personal products. Just saying "the government should do it" is the easy way out, if you really have a good idea, YOU should do it. This is a capitalist country built on people's ideas that THEY did do. If you don't like the way our country is set up, go to a different one.
I guess we really never think about disposable goods and their effect on our enviroment. I do think it's a better option to use disposable adult briefs instead of resuasble ones for sanitary reasons. I don't think I trust whats in the water or detergent to clean them, so disposable is the better alternative.
We need to find a better way to speed up the decomposition process in our landfills. I wonder if anyone is looking into that?
