    As a provider of senior/adult services in the industry I think we are going to see a crisis in senior care costs as seniors maintain an increasingly improved state of health into their later years. People are living far longer and often the financial aspect of increasing lifespans is unplanned for. Interesting piece Dr. Gilbert.

    The report points out the large gap in financial resources between various educational and ethnic groups, and the lack of personal resources to serve as a safety net for the elderly. Since 40-50% of high school students will be dropping out of school, and since the average family has a negative savings rate, and since our government is running on fumes, we are indeed heading for a disaster. I see that the senior population can not afford the drugs that they need, and that this is only going to get worse.
